A small carpet on top of a steep staircase shifts a few inches from its normal position and the man, who takes the same steps every night with meticulously unchanged gestures and habits, slips, hits his head on the railing and loses his life. The power wire of a drill is pulled forward, the edge of the trap in which it is entangled cuts through the flex and the unwitting owner is electrocuted.
Unfortunate events in everyday life or premeditated crimes accurately designed exploiting circumstances and tiny details?
A mysterious character, reachable only on the Internet with high-security protection, uses his extraordinary scientific knowledge to kill wealthy people for money. Without weapons or poisons, changing the probability of natural events, he produces events where it is impossible to distinguish between misfortunes and murder.
But suddenly the apparent tranquility of this ‘virtual’ killer ends: his computer is hacked and someone threatens him with his own methods…
